I thought it was right to bring Mackie on when AJ was injured as they both stop the defenders passing the ball between themselves and receiving it from the keeper. Cech resorted to kick the ball almost everytime he had it. When Cisse came on for SWP and Mackie moved back to right mid, Chelsea started to hold onto the ball more. Agree with Hoilett for SWP, although I think SWP has looked much better this season

 

Think this is a great point. Having to make two early subs in the first half was a massive blow. As i think that was the plan work Chelsea hard keep it tight which we did and then bring Cissie, Hoilett or even adel on to get at them in the last 20 mins or so. But you can't do anything when you get two early injuries.

Of course you can have a differing opinion....but when someone says a gifted ( all be it frustrating ) player like Taarabt can't pass the ball then one has to question the validity of that person's opinion.
Or in other words...............he must know **** all about the game...........mate.
