Chelsea fans 40-60 hate Spurs, Goes back to the 67 final and 75 relegation. Arsenal is more rivalry than hatred, Spurs is more hatred than rivalry. You can tell my going to the games. Having said that recently I've seen a lot of clashes between Chelsea and Arsenal fans. Won't divulge too much on here but one at Wimbledon Station and one at Wembley.
Leeds, Everton and Chelsea were head and shoulders the most racist clubs in the 70s/80s. No-one denies it. Leeds have a good record with ethnic minorities - one of the first black players in English football Gerry Francis, first black to appear in an FA Cup final Albert Johanneson, Lucas Radebe treated as a legend up there with the best of them. Asian people in Leeds support Man U and Arsenal. That's just a fact of life. Doesn't mean we're racist because our fans are mainly white, and even in the modern day Chelsea haven't been saints in this regard with the recent Anton Ferdinand business, Auschwitz chants and constant tedious Ulster loyalist fringe element.
I'm not saying definitively Leeds were now. I don't know but Yorkshire in general was about 20 years behind London, Manchester and Birmingham in terms of relations to BME groups. All clubs have racist fans, that's just a fact of life, but some moreso than others.
Yes, and Chelsea are undoubtedly in the category of 'moreso than others' along with us, Stoke, Luton etc. Would you think it's fair game for Leeds fans to list racism as one of the reasons we hate Chelsea? Not that we'd need to anyway, got plenty of other reasons of our own.
No but football is tribal. Leeds probably hate Chelsea because Ron Harris kicked seven shades out of Eddie Gray. Leeds fans would probably cite Chelsea as dirty for that reason alone, equally Chelsea fans would cite Leeds as dirty for the likes of Mick Jones going OTT with Peter Bonetti. That's just football

Have you given up on winning the title or something? For the best part of a decade its been United v Chelsea for the title so I would suggest we are rivals, on the pitch at least.

United are title rivals, not club rivals. United's rivals are City, Leeds, Liverpool and Arsenal give or take. Chelsea's rivals are Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham and Leeds/Liverpool give or take. If United were top of the PL and Chelsea bottom, they wouldn't be rivals, it's totally dependent on league position. If Chelsea were top and Arsenal bottom they'd still be rivals. As for giving up on winning, last time I checked we were top of the league and also CL/FA Cup winners so no I haven't given up on winning

Isnt your Liverpool rivalry a fairly new thing? I wouldnt mention being top of the league after 3 games. Its almost like Arsenal fans saying they are top of the league after no games
He said main rivals which is as far as most United fans are concerned a temporary thing. Our main rivals overall are Liverpool, no ifs no buts. They could be relegated 9 divisions and it would be the case.
I see Chelsea as rivals, but I don't "hate" them. I do "hate" any team. Only a complete fcukwit "hates" something that is not a threat to his personal liberty or well-being. I don't even hate Mousers. Pity them, perhaps. Find them hilariously deluded, most definitely. But I cannot "hate" the person, who is God's own creature. My rebukes to the Mousers is done purely out of love. "Spare the rebuke, delude the Mouser" is my motto.
I see them as a threat to my personal well-being, since they were a large part of ruining this sport which plays a major role in my life.
