I like BR but between him and Owen its going to sound like the Office I understand what they were trying to do (US market) but boys, not only will it be on 5, it's after 4 not great results. I think even if you were doing fine in the league and had a few great signings it would still have played out poorly with the fans. Football clubs tend to come across with more respect when they play their cards close to their chest but dignity, respect and heritage are only going to become rarer in modern football. Yes other fans and clubs are going to laugh at you about this, not because you're Liverpool but because they'd laugh at any club who shamelssly promotes themselves in this way - its just not very British. However... up in Newcastle we've had far worse so you'll get no sympathy from us, at least your ground isn't called "Fenway Sports Ballpark Franchise".
I've seen the first episode. Its not that bad at all. There's nothing remotely controversial or embarrassing to Liverpool in there.
I think it will be an embarrassment on the club but what are we going to do about it...? It is all signed and agreed now so we are just going to have to grin and bare it Despite not agreeing with it and the inevitable ribbing we will be due afterwards, I am quite looking forward to watching it. I think it will be interesting to see some of the stuff that goes off in the background. Also, it could be good to see exactly how involved the club has been with the recent Hillsborough stuff too
Wasn't it on Fox in USA last night...? It's on Channel Five next Friday for us, 9pm Ps - it's availbale on YouTube Edit: I'm going to wait until it is over and then download them all to watch in one go. Well, that is my plan but no doubt this website will encourage me to watch them sooner
