I think your being unfair there Cym, I think certain players have to look at themselves as I feel most of the failing has been by individual errors and not through the collective.

Man ut will not beat us by 6, they will do their now customary stifling tactics and probably get a draw.

We could have tied Flamini to a long contract the season before he left <grr>

As much as I admire Wenger, you do have to look at the players he has let go:

    Gallas
    Toure
    Flamini
    Gilberto
    Diarra

all key areas which have cost us dear this season

has sung and the pressure is off I believe Arsenal will seek pride and put on a performance that will belie their previous shortcomings and trounce United 3-0 setting up Chelsea to repeat the away win at Old Toilet for the second year running.

Gallas was always getting injured so I don't blame Wenger for that.

We got good money for Toure considering at the time he wasn't the player he used to be, also after he had gone he said it was either him or Gallas that would leave.

Flamini and Diarra played contract games with us and ended up leaving.

    Gilberto should have stayed though

Szczesny saved us a point at ****e hart Lane:

"The north London duo provided a feast of flowing attacking football, a candidate for the Premier League's best game of the season, that allowed Szczesny and his Spurs counterpart Heurelho Gomes to excel by producing a series of outstanding saves."

"Luka Modric saw his shot blocked by Szczesny."

"Arsenal's talented young keeper then made amends with a crucial point-blank block from Modric when it seemed certain the Croat would give Spurs the lead for the first time in this rollercoaster encounter."

"Szczesny was next to excel with a save of agility and excellence to turn Peter Crouch's goalbound header over the bar. He followed this up with further saves from Van der Vaart and Spurs substitute Sandro."

Agree, Szczesny did alright against the Spuds. He had no chance with the first two, and the pen was fractions away from a brilliant save.

And made some great stops against Bolton too, and has been top notch pretty much whenever he's played (except the CC final).

He's still young and the mistake he made in the CC final was ****ing harshly penalised - 99% of the time that ball would have bounced harmlessly back to a defender or the keeper would have fielded it.

IMO Szczesny is a top top keeper already, but he needs a confident defence in front of him

I'm also thinking of when he should've got sent off and given away a Pen.

He is a great keeper though, and has that confidence and eccentricity that serve to make him so good.

He also has balls of steel; I ****ing loved it when he nailed Bale.
