Must admit, he's a fantastic keeper.

Him, Krul and Hart are gonna be future stars <ok>

His distribution is **** but our tactics appear to be if the keeper has it punt it!!! Why, nobody can win it up front so look to play it ffs!

Agree mate he's only just turned 24 aswell. They say Keepers don't peak till their 30.
Brucey paid 3.5m for him and he's another quality find we can thank him for. If only his tactical nous was as good as his transfer buisness!

I feel sorry for Westwood who I think is too good to sit on the bench. He's going to struggle to get picked ahead of Mig though.

Good GK and pleased we have him but we really a coach to work on that aspect of his game.

We paid 650k for the Mig, rising to £2million (we'll have played close to that now, Belgium, 100 games etc)

    What a ****ing deal.

    Given 1.5million
    Krul Free
    Mignolet 2million
    Gordon 9million
    De Gea 18million
    Ruddy 500k
    Friedel 2.5million

Just a few off the top of my head, I genuinely believe that spending big money on a keeper is pointless.

Never has a list summed it up so!

That said, I do think De Gea will grow into something very, very special.

    Whether that will be 9 Mig's, or 36 Ruddy's, I doubt!

My mate told me that Mig was offered number 1, but chose to stick with 22, in a rather unrelated point, as some were suggesting Westwood getting no. 1 was a sign.

We may need 2 keepers in January, Westwood, as has been said, is way to good to sit on the bench.

Not a De Gea fan personally but he does have potential I admit.

All joking aside, I really think you could do a lot worse than Huerlho (sp) Gomes from Spurs. Okay so he dropped some shocking, shocking clangers for them but I really don't think he's that bad of a keeper and he's 4th choice for Spurs now.

Somebody like that wold be fine as a back0up, but would he leave London to sit on our bench?

Some good keepers in the Championship, but again, they'll look at Westwood, who was the best in the league, and probably think there's no point coming here, so likely we'll be looking abroad.

The Dutch & the Scandinavian nations always seem to produce decent keepers.

    Christ, Gomez 4th choice now!

He was in the Brazil squad only two years ago.
