I've condemned the chanting at today's game on this forum, you ignorant prick. Do you need a personal apology from every United fan?

My point is that they can only be vile ****s if we let them.

My anger is 3 fold. Firstly, after all that has happened this week those chants are extremely insulting and hurtful. Secondly that Liverpool were not playing at OT so there was no incitement. Finally that it was not just a few idiots.

What is it you dont understand. We've had 23 years of dealing with this ****. 96 people died, and many, many more friends and family members have had to listen to the vile crap spouted by your 'fans' for all that time. Even when it's proved it was lies they still have to listen to it, and take it. You try to defend it by talking about someone throwing a bag of ****. Ironic really.

[TD="class: alt1, bgcolor: #F7F7F7"]What sort of football fan can have watched the images from Sheffield on that day, followed the story since then, absorbed what has come out this week and not felt some empathy? You can't suspend hostilities for a couple of weeks and offer your thoughts as a lover of the game and as a human being to Liverpool people now, you've got to have a look at yourself.

[TD="class: alt1, bgcolor: #F7F7F7"]I can't believe how many ****s there are on this forum. How hard is it to stop the horrendous, inflamatory, needless chants? Support your club. Anyone who thinks the chants today were not at all related to hillsborough or has some misguided belief that joining in makes you the big man is an imbecile. You have ruined what should be remembered as a great result for united and a fantastic debut for buttner and powell.

I wasn't able to watch the game today so reading this is the first i have heard of United fans singing horrible chants. If true i find it extremely embarrasing, but as always every team has the same numpties who really don't deserve to be allowed near a football a stadium

Sadly this chanting will never stop unless both Liverpool and United both threaten those who sing it with expulsion from the ground and never be allowed to attend another game.

Fans at the games can also play a huge part in eradicating this chanting by reporting those who sing these songs to the stewards who will eject these morons out of the stadium.

Poor lass, 30 seconds of pure hell before she can roll over! I assume she just got in from a girl's night out walking like John Wayne!

Criminal charges such as incitement to cause a riot etc are in existence and could easily be thrown at those caught singing that ****e.

A nice idea Alan but it will never work, what people need to do at games is to direct abuse at these numpties. Much more effective if some prick comes in the pub and started singing about Munich or whatever he would last around 30 seconds. Why does the crowd not turn on the small minority that thinks its ok to sing about a tragedy, if they did the chants would last seconds.

Because thick, jobsworth stewards would probably kick them out for being abusive! Much easier to throw 1 individual out rather than a group of people chanting things.

    Excellent point<ok>
If the majority of the crowd turned around and gave the minority that were singing a few slaps, then they would think twice about doing it again.
