Pretty lame! Ferguson made his comments prior to today's match. The chant was loud enough to be heard by all and an official statement could have been made during the match. But it wasn't.

Sure, it was a proportion of the United supporters but they were not ridiculed or stopped by the majority were they?

The chanting at OT today was unacceptable and quite right that the club have condemned it. I expect the same from Liverpool after the inevitable Munich crap next week. Unfortunately some fans are too bitter and ignorant to see sense. Some twats blame Sir Alex Lord of Ferguson for the animosity between Liverpool and United, they may as well wear a sign around their necks saying "I know nothing about football prior to Liverpool's glory years in the 80's".

This type of behaviour is only possible when the majority remain silent. For that reason alone you are all tarnished by the same brush.
