Forgive me for trespassing on the Newcastle board with this thread - I just thought I'd post it here as it is the busiest board in the Premier League.

I just did the predictor up until the final game of the season and, in the unlikely event that my predictions are correct, <whistle> we could be in a real battle for survival on the last day.

I have the bottom of the Premier League looking like this after 37 games:

    15...Stoke City ; ; ; ; ; -7 ; ; ; 40
    16...Blackburn Rovers ; -19; ; ; 38
    17...West Ham ; ; ; ; ; -21; ; ; 38
    ----------------------------------
    18...Blackpool ; ; ; ; ; -23; ; ; 38
    19...Wolverhampton; ; -22; ; ; 37
    20...Wigan Athletic ; ; -26; ; ; 37

    Final Games:

Man Utd (already champions) v Blackpool.
Blackpool could win and go down or lose and stay up, depending on other results!

    Stoke v Wigan
Stoke need a point to be sure. Wigan have to win and hope other result go their way. But they could stay up with a draw if 3 of the 4 above them get thrashed.

    West Ham v Sunderland
Even though they are outside the relegation zone, The Hammers could still be relegated even if they win [in the unlikely event that Blackpool win by 3 more goals]

    Wolves v Blackburn
A win for Blackburn and they stay up. Draw and they are looking for other results to go their way. A draw could be enough for Wolves, but they could still go down after a win.

    ----

So do you think the table will look vaguely like this? If so, who would be your three for the drop?

I reckon blackburn need to really worry! They made a massive mistake sacking allardyce and not hiring a better replacement!

I would love Blackburn to go down. Their manager makes me feel sick. He is ****, clueless and stupid! How on earth did he get that job?

Stoke should be safe, it's not looking good for Wolves or Wigan, Blackpool are playing some good stuff so I think it's between Blackburn and West Ham for the third drop place.

i would love to see Blackburn, Wigan and Wolves go down.

However I think think Blackpool will be joining 2 of the above teams. It would be great for football if Blackpool managed to stay up

Said Blackpool, Wigan and Wolves would go at the start of the season, still think that will be the case.

How did we fare in your prediction, oh wise one?

Oh, and I think Wigan Wolves then either Blackpool or West Ham to go down. Don't want either of those latter 2 to get relegated but never mind.

I reckon Wigan, Blackpool and Blackburn, although I'd like to see Blackpool stay up.

I had us to finish 9th when I did it a couple of days ago.

I think Blackpool, Wigan and Blackburn will go down.

If I had to choose I'd say Wigan, Rovers and West Ham to go down. I'd like Blackpool to stay up as they've been great for the league this season and I'd like Wolves to stay up for two reasons. One, I live in Wolverhampton so it's a nice local fixture for me to go to (along with Villa, West Brom, Stoke & Birmingham) but also their fans are really good. I can't stand watching Wigan play the likes of Man Utd in a half empty stadium.

Found the general public in Wolverhampton to be helpful and friendly but didn't find the fans overly friendly.

Can't see Stole being in that sort of trouble going into the last game but I do agree the table will look vaguely like that
