His goals kept us up last season. Now he seems to be viewed by MH as being almost surplus to requirements. Does he deserve a starting place, and will he remain committed and interested if he's on the bench every game?
I'm confident Cisse will get his chance. Maybe sooner than expected with Johnson going off early today. Mouthwatering prospect, Cisse starting and Mackie coming on for second 45 - both will really knacker out the opposition defenders.
I like Cisse, but he always looks so petulant.. He whinges whenever he doesn't recieve a perfect ball/gets a tug from an opposition player, then spends the next 10 seconds flinging his arms in the air rather than tracking back and trying to reclaim the ball. Bit selfish, and i didn't really like how he's already talking about life after QPR in a recent interview :/
Twins, your worry about whether he'll remain interested and committed is the wrong way around mate. I'd say he must get more interested and committed and force his way back into the team. Isn't that the way it works? If he doesn't, then sod him.
Taarabt must have a chance of starting against Spurs with Zamora on his own up front Otherwise we could go 4-4-2 again with Cisse a straight change for AJ
Cisse isn't on form at the moment, look at how often he's caught off side. I can understand why Hughes is trying Zamora and Johnson together as they did used to terrify defenses together at Fulham. Cisse has just promised the goals are coming on Twitter, and I'm sure they will.
Cisse doesnt deserve to start as all hes done all season is go offside. Id rather go 1 up front (as long as Diakite is back) than start Cisse in the next game.
Johnson: 13 league goals in four years (80 appearances) Zamora: 20 goals in four years (91 appearances) 33 goals in 171 appearances isn't exactly what I would call 'terrifying'
I think it was a tactical choice today. We played a hard working pacey approach. Cisse and Adel can both drift out of games..
