Dont really post on here just a reader so here is my first thread. People on here are allowed to be negative and feel down and have the right to moan after this result so don't shoot them down but there is a limit. We have just got promoted from the championship and started the season off with Man City, Man United and Arsenal so those people thinking Adkins should be sacked should get off their high horse, you cannot of expected us to beat all three and be at the top so stop the moaning and grow up and look forward to our first points against Villa! Welcome to the Saints board..........They are not always like that....they are just down after this latest defeat. In this one we cannot say we were unlucky......we were simply outclassed. If that happens too many times I think our manager will be changed. No that is not a particular dig at our Nigel nor a suggestion that he should go. However our Chairman is fairly ruthless and he does not strike me as being particularly emotional when it comes to his choices and decisions. As we found out about a certain Mr Pardew..........
Seeing as we don't actually know why Pardew was sacked, I think that's unfair of you to say. It's odd to assume he's as "ruthless" and trigger happy as you're suggesting when we've changed manager once in over three seasons, with strong suggestions of it being for reasons more than on the pitch results...
Ok......you didn't think he was fairly ruthless in the way he parted with Pardew?........Ok that is your view but not mine. You are right we do not "know why he was sacked" Just that he was. I certainly did not say he was "trigger happy" nor imply it, that is your interpretation not mine. I was implying that he is not backward in coming forward when decisions have to be made. Nor is he particularly emotional when he has to make a decision. As he has demonstrated through his time at Saints. That is not a critism just my view of the mans character.
What is an ego and where can I get one only I don't have one? Do they sell them in the Saints Megastore and are they very expensive? Will the very lovely Mrs Godders be able to wash and iron it for me?
Not sure, but you can get inflatable plastic ones from ManU. Apparently you don't even have to go there to get one.
