I'm afraid I have to agree with Eddie, I think if Joseph was a little more decisive, had not gone inside and went a bit sooner the result would have been different. All opinion though, we'll never know.
I think it was not the greatest of rides but that it did not make the difference between winning and losing in my opinion i think that is as good as he is, he is still a good horse but no more.
Ahhhh 2nd ffs - great ride Fallon on Libranno - STRONG SUIT - DONKEY was going to back him but forgot because of camelot and seen 13/8. Would rather have had him than Pastoral Player now
wtf was hughes doing there? looks like a stroke, he wasnt interested in winning, stable second string wins at a price
Have to agree with the lads who questioned Strong Suit's campaign this season - he looked very flat today after running only 7 days ago in a Group 1 sprint at Haydock. Looked nothing like the horse we saw in the Hungerford
Not good enough on the day as Oddy rightly said. They aren't machines and he may have had off day. At least his defeat made one poster extremely happy as a short read through the thread reveals..
How come a horse sired by King Mambo won the St Leger? KM was a miler. Shows the strength of the dam influence with Arc winner Sinndar and Shirley Heights in there.
