We need to create one soccer league for the whole of Ireland. We simply don't have enough people on the island to have two professional leagues. Every one and their dog knows it would be beneficial, it's just politics getting in the way. Maybe then with a decent level of football it would be easier to call your local team your first team.
with the exception of the O.F. most airtricity prem sides would do well in scottish football or the championship in england. the LoI. isnt really that bad its just that the FAI are involved and that ****er Delaney with his comb over wig hasn't a ****ing clue please log in to view this image he's the most pro dub **** alive .. last summer limerick 37 had agreed a friendly with barcelona but john wouldnt allow it as there was other airtricity fixtures the same day and he claimed the fai had a deal to bring barca to where ? you guessed dublin , corrupt ****s
The only problem with that is you'd lose European places. And possibly FIFA would stick their grubby mitts in as well, and try and get rid of the Northern Irish national side, which would just be needlessly aggravating to Unionists. That deal really stank. The FAI came out with loads of excuses which were clearly bullshit (All the clubs had signed a deal saying the couldn't hold certain friendlies, friendlies can't be on the same day as a league game, etc.), I reckon it was to make sure there was no attention taken away from their precious Man United farce game at Lansdowne a couple of days later.
If I were Welsh I'd do the decent thing and shoot myself. I'd do it if I were ginger, too. You know it's right.
Is this not all to do with the fact that the Aviva Stadium is a bit of an Albatross ound the FAI's neck, and they will do anything to try and pay for it? Hence the Carling/Nations Cup, where when Scotland or Wales play the ROI tickets are about 40 euros, but when Scotland played NI, tickets were only 20 euros !
bingo and its all down to that floppy haired dunce no investment in the league or grassroots football its all going to the shiny new stadium p.s. the suns after comin out im off for game of pitch and putt and a few smokes see ye wenever
That goes without saying too. Let's face it anyone who would fancy her "who is not to be named" Claire Grogan, needs his bumps felt...and how. It's just common sense.
You know, if you'd just said "Yes" I wouldn't have argued. It was obvious. But you had to go there didn't you. You had to go Claire. I'm beginning to suspect you have a wee thing about Gregory's Girl. A wee rush goes through those loins when you hear "Happy Birthday", doesn't it? Be honest with yourself for a minute. Watch this and tell me you don't get excited. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rEDCIiEFdY
I think i've confessed before but I used to love that song, I could pogo up a storm to that catchy wee pop ditty. Pinky Blue is ok too. Claire was quite fanciable until heard about her history. A "Herry".
If I was Welsh I would keep it very quiet... or better still, kill my entire family and claim to be English...
