With what we've got available, that's the best we're likely to do. Just hope we can avoid any more injuries. We're stretched as we are to say the least.

Too many injuries to top players and I'm not happy that we didnt bring in some new quality players.

Think we all feel the same way about the injuries and the lack of signings, but we've got to try and keep the faith.

To be honest, I don't think we'll start Marv. Btw what happened to Cisse?

Well if Cisse is out, then Marv has a chance. Hope its him!

Nothing. I just think two actual wingers would be better, and Ba is the only one of the two that's scored in the league so far this season

I like this. Agree with Ba over Cisse for me on Monday as Cisse needs a kick up the arse - being dropped will show him he needs to work harder.

He always worked hard last season, remember he's just recently come back from Ramadan. Ba has worked harder than Cisse, but I think Ba is more used to playing just after Ramadan. Remember Ba being weak and tired at the start of last season.

We should cut Cisse some slack. And dropping him wont help. He's not an all round immense player, but he's a fantastic striker, so we can't have him tracking back or running around too often, he just needs to be in his position and score goals.

But he can work in defense if need be.

    I've changed my mind.
I actually think it will be 0-2 and Cisse will get both.... one of them being a 25 yard screamer from the left of the box (top right and corner)

Think it will be a draw personally, though I'm hoping that the atmosphere will push us for the win as it's going to be absolutely bouncing inside Goodison Park on Monday night. It usually is during a night game anyway but with all the ongoings and revelations about Hillsborough this week it will be even more so with us wanting to let our voices be heard on the box about "Justice for the 96" so that could be a big advantage.

It's a shame Gibbo is injured for us as he's the man that keeps the midfield going and is the 'glue' of the team so to speak but I'm sure we'll be able to cope.

We will play 4-2-3-1 and I'm expecting:

    -------------------------------Howard------------------------------
    ------Hibbert------Jagielka----------------Distin-------Baines-------
    --------------------Neville------------Osman-----------------------
    -----Naismith-----------------Fellaini----------------Pienaar--------
    ----------------------------Jelavic---------------------------------

Our best team available would be:

    ------------------------------Howard------------------------------
    -------Neville----------Jagielka----------Distin--------Baines--------
    ----------------------Fellaini------------Osman---------------------
    -------Mirallas----------------Naismith--------------Pienaar---------
    ---------------------------Jelavic----------------------------------

I think David Moyes will go for the first option though as he seems to trust Neville in CM (God knows why, he's awful there) rather than play Mirallas who is still easing his way into the team.

    Enjoy the match lads.

P.s. Will Goodison faithful super Dan Gosling be playing? :D

All along I've been thinking we'll lose this one. Everton are a very good side, hard to beat, are in good form and playing at home.
whereas we've had a mixed start and the lads don't seem to be firing on all cylinders just yet.

Those doubts have been heightened by the recent injuries to Krul, Colo and continued absence of Tiote.

    BUT....

I had a vision last night. It was Stevie Taylor scoring the winner!

Of course, it was probably just a hopeful dream, but I'm going to put some money on it now. <ok>

    Ho'way the Lads!

Got to say I have a feeling he is going to score our 1000th Premier League goal tonight.

Be great if he did, the kids of today would still be talking about him in 40 years time. Another 'Local Hero'.
