100% something going on. BR has shown with Sterling that he's not afraid of putting anyone in the team, even Morgan! so if at the age of 21 Pacheco isn't playing then he's obviously not up to it
There must be. Rodgers gave Sterling a dressing down and now he's playing like a 27 year old. That's what we need.
Correct. He definitely is playing well beyond his 15 years. He's definitely a hot prospect as is Trinkett Smith.
Sorry I was talking about City's £6m winger Scott Sinclair! City got a penalty for lesser version of the foul on Ibe. Sigh.
2-2 now 2 goals for Pelosi. Ngoo was brilliant for the second goal and we should be winning if it was'nt for a **** ref.
Back on level terms! Marc Pelosi has got us back in the game after a ball in from the left by Michael N'Goo. Have to give a lot of credit to N'Goo after working very, very hard to get into a decent position to create something after being hassled by about 4 Manchester City defenders in and around the box! 2-2.
Nearly a winner at the end there. City's left back and captain Halan looks decent. Strong and composed on the ball.
Here is the match report from tonight's Under 21/Reserve game between Liverpool & Chelsea. - An excellent result for the Under 21's/Reserves tonight! Good to see Yesil getting some game time and by the account on here and various other places, he was pretty good. And getting four goal against a previously unbeaten Chelsea side is always good. The team included their goalscorer Patrick Bamford (A £1.5M purchase from Forest and a very highly rated young player) & Marko Marin. (Came in from Werder Bremen in the summer and will be in & around the first 11 when back to full fitness)
Very Good result, missed it unfortunately, looks like the boys had a very good game and glad my mate Dani played well...Shame Yesil didnt get off the mark.
In case anyone is instrested, I found this online
The Under 21's are in action this afternoon as they take on Fulham. Kick-off is at 2PM with build-up starting at 1.45PM. It's live on LFCTV!
Liverpool Team To Face Fulham. Gulacsi; McLaughlin, Sama, Sokolik, Wilson; Coady, Roddan; Morgan, Adorjan, Cole; Ngoo SUBS: Ward, Nacho, Teixeira, Pelosi, Ibe. So, a strong-looking side to take on Fulham. It looks like a 4-2-3-1 formation with Joe Cole making a comeback from a hamstring injury. Danny Wilson starts at left-back with Michael N'goo starting up-front. Adam Morgan could play up-top with N'Goo or he could play in a wider position just behind N'Goo. Not too sure what Borrell has gone with at the moment. We'll find out when everything gets going!
Fulham Team To Face Liverpool. Somogyi; Brister, Musa, Grimmer, Kavanagh; Minkwitz, Smith; Dalla Valle, Donegan, Banya; Trotta. SUBS: Granger, Alyman, Christensen, Islamovic, Pritchard. Not too many names that you & I will know but a couple of names jump out. Ex-Liverpool striker Lauri Dalla Valle moved to Fulham from Liverpool in a deal which involved Paul Konchesky. He starts on the right with Marcelo Trotta up-front on his own. Trotta is known for an excellent loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers where he scored 8 goals in 8 games.
We've got an early goal and a lead for Liverpool. Joe Cole, in his first football since picking up a hamstring injury against West Brom in the league, cuts in from the left-hand side and curls a lovely shot into the bottom corner. 1-0.
