It's a game made by Canadians, concentrating on the biggest teams. They probably just copied Mackie from the last game.
EA ratings are always a joke. You can tell they are done by a handful of people and not people with in depth knowledge of each team. I did the ratings for the Philadelphia Flyers for EHM and its a fair bit of work just for one team and theres no way I could have done it for other teams as well.
Mackie isn't technically that good a footballer, especially stats on a game. He has done so well because of hard work and determination. He should be a 70 mind.
Hes good at finishing though and his physical attributes should be good but the only thing that usually matters in those games is pace.
True but the new main feature of Fifa 13 is 1st touch so players 1st touch is similar to how it is in real life, for which Mackie is horrendous! Pace doesn't mean anywhere near as much from Fifa 12 onwards.
The fact that Fellaini is still only an 80 on this game and people like Obi Mikel are an 82 is outrageous. Barton was an 80 last year too...
Of course not Northy, we're humane on here, happy to provide a tranquil corner for those with aspergic tendencies and a virtual social life.
The beautiful thing is (at least in the last game) you can change their stats and start a league or play online with your modified team. That's what I did in the last game. Mackie and Faurlin's stats were put right up, along with Clint Hill and Ryan Nelson. I do think Mackie deserves more in the game. He sometimes has some really nice skills and his pace is not bad at all. His fitness should be high, as well.
Them rotten Canadians I've always liked Mackie, nut not quite as impressed by Junior partly because we've seen what he can do (at Blackburn) but hasn't come up to that level for us, and partly because he would have been a welcome addition internationally last week but he declined
You cant get too made at Canaidans, after all, they gave us Trailer Park Boys which is the funniest show people havent heard of here.
