And another: Essex 86/5. If weather is not an issue then this match should be pretty much sorted from here. However, Derby are 17/0 chasing just 193 to win the title.

 

Personally, I refuse to watch the Murdoch League of Cricket.

We'll beat Essex, no question on that, but Derbys look like they're going to beat Hants so it's kind of out of our hands, frustrating thin is we'll be even on points but will have fewer wins, mainly due to the effing weather! Good noise coming from the club about strengthening for next year too, a couple of good players and we can make a run for the title
