Why i love Coloccini

It's not just the hair, the pecks or the amazing tatoo on his torso.

He's an amazing CB, one with an amazing ability to read the game and time his movements to perfection.

Williamson and Taylor always look like they're about to give away a penalty when challenging someone in the box, and stick out their legs ridiculously to try and get the ball back. Colo times his movements perfectly and sweeps the ball away from an attacking player. He made Darren Bent look like a fool twice this season, and Bent must have been extremely happy when Taylor and Willo were paired at the back for the Villa game...

I just love the way he will glide past a player in the box and nick the ball from them. He's got great agility and ball control.

 

He always seems so confident and assured, a bit like Jose really. Thats part of the reason I think we will really miss Jose because not only of him as a LB but how he teams up with Collo and Jonas!

 

Who says he's going? It;s all paper talk so far, there's no decision or fee agreed.

 

You always say Taylor is a great CB...

 

He is, but i always old my breath when he's challenging someone in the box. He's got a nack for giving away some silly penalties.

 

Mainly because of his hands though!

 

Regardless, i love Taylor and he's excellent when he's in a good spell of form and is playing games regularly, but he has a few aspects to him i don't like, like i hate the way Jose pisses about with the ball at the back too often.

 

I really, really, really hope he stays and it is all paper talk. Ive just got this really bad feeling that someones gonna come in for him in the summer, Ashleys eyes will light up and we will have another Carroll situation on our hands

 

You've got a hard on for Colo n Ba........

 

Colo is our best CB but lets not get carried away hes nothing amazing, hes been great this season but is not a world beater by a long stretch, his pace lets him down at times and he is sometimes easily muscled of out challenges.

On the plus side hes very technical and seems to read the game very well, and always seems to be the first person up when a corner comes in to get it away.

 

no pace, not see him keep with hernandez (and nut him) on Tuesday???

collocinni is the best player ever to grace the entire planet in my opinion

 

I'd say he's in the top 10-20 CB's in the PL definitely. He' definitely good enough for a team challenging in Europe.

He's awesome in defense, and also in attack.

 

taylor is a ****e centre back.. will never quite achieve his potential because his decision making and awareness are poor, he often looks rushed and is not composed, clumsy as well... very average in my opinion
