    Are you an idiot?

Your comment was disgusting; the fact that Hillsborough is a hot topic right now is immaterial to that.

'Robbing murderer'? Really? Are you a child?

It's just such a shame that some people will never empathize with the people of Liverpool over this. People like Alan- and Comas/99 who are so totally self involved that they cannot see beyond their own noses to see the suffering caused by this event to the families of the dead, stretching out towards friends and everyone who was there that day. Do you see now why it's such an emotive issue? When you connect everyone involved... it doesn't stop at the families of the 96; it lays at all of Liverpool, at the doorstep of Sheffield and their police force, the Nottingham Forest fans at the other end of the stadium, and even the government.

The only thing that could make you see what effect this tragedy has had on a LOT of people over the years would be for you to witness it first hand, and that saddens me that you simply cannot empthasize with other people, nevermind if they are scousers or not.

96 people lost their lives, that itself is a tragedy. The point people make about hundreds dying in road accidents etc... yes you are correct people do die in road accidents but those people weren't failed by the police, the government and the media after death. Their families aren't left in a continuous state of grief for 23 years for an actual representation of what happened. The city that they are from is not tarnished with a "whinging Scouser" brush.

Hillsborough is so much more than the deaths of 96 people dying now, but you should never forget those 96 who died and everytime you walk into a football ground try and imagine what it was like for them pushed up against the sides, screaming for help on deaf ears. That is the reality of the situation.

Coulda been any team in the country in that era of football and all fans should stick together and mourn the deaths of completely innocent people who died in a terrible disaster that should've been prevented. Nobody should go to a football match and never return home and what followed Hillsborough was disgraceful.
    Justice for the 96.

Ze totally agree with what you say and would think the overwhelming majority of football supporters would agree with you also.
People like those you mention at the begining of your post seem to be impossible candidates to be educated on things like empathy.

I get called a "munich twat" everytime I see any of my scouse or City mates, I dont cry about it

I NEVER used that comment on this topic or any that were to do with hillsborough, I used it on one aimed at banter

These terms are used as banter and are exactly that, people who are from liverpool and manchester use them all the time, you wouldnt know that though

So if this term is no longer allowed, what can we use??? Racists? or should we mention another topic

Well then your 'mates' are idiots. And besides, two wrongs don't make a right, do they? Basic. Very basic.

No-one here regards it as banter. Banter is friendly; tongue in cheek. That is not.

Don't try to lecture me on libertarianism or freedom of speech; you are free to use whatever words you want, but combine them in such a way as you have done and you will receive only disgust.

Insulting the dead victims of tragedies from any one, not just football fans, isn't 'banter'. I enjoy comedians like Frankie Boyle who push the envelope - don't get me wrong - but I understand when and when not to say things. It's not banter, it's deliberate point-scoring which insults the memories of the people who were killed. I think you know that, and I find your responses both hilarious and pathetic simultaneously. <ok>

So if I was a comedian like boyle who has ridiculed the disabled and mocked the dead it is ok? Brilliant

And where the **** did i lecture you on free speech, you absolute cockmonger

I could not give a flying **** about the whole matter, get over it and concentrate on your own board you ****

P.s what is your real team? glory hunting racist twat

I will not say anymore on this thread as all you are trying to do is bring up something that was not said on this thread or any other remotely conneccted to hillsborough, you are just trying to make this thread into a hate thread, I'll leave you too it
