Bert Millichip died 10 years ago, so he can't be prosecuted, but Graham Kelly can. I also believe the Clough family should be held accountable for the comments made by Brian Clough. He made some disgusting comments.

Why not? He's dead, he can't be held accountable. Lets get Nigel to show remorse on his behalf. Nigel has played for Liverpool, and it would be the right thing for him to apologise and beg forgiveness on his fathers behalf.
I see where you are coming from but Brian Clough was his own man and was reknowned for making comments about things, I don't see why one or more of his family should have to be accountable for his actions. I'm sure Nigel would willingly apologise on his behalf anyway though, Nigel seems a much better person than his father
I suppose you're right. As good a manager as Cloughie was. He should have been England manager, and was the third most talented English born manager after Bob Paisley and Joe ***an. He was ahead of both Bobby Robson and Howard Kendall in my opinion. I would regard as being 4th and 5th. However sometimes Clough let himself down because sometimes his mouth moved faster than his brain.

I've no problem letting them know that I think Bettison shouldn't be in such a responsible position. In his statement today he said "I never altered a statement nor asked for one to be altered." What he didn't say was whether or not he KNEW statements by others had been altered. The fact they rubbed our faces in it by allowing him to be our CC pretty much sums up how the whole force and political establishment (nationwide) used to view the people of Liverpool (and no doubt many still do). Don't know if you have seen my comments on the other thread but I'm from Notts and I'm surrounded by Forest fans, some of which probably lived of every word Cloughie said. I know what he said and I know how much of an influence he had on people. The way the man acted annoyed me as much as Fergie does now so please don't think I am standing up for him

I read something earlier that SYP were planning on referring themselves to the ICPP (I think thats the right acronym?), maybe they have already started the process...? It also said that normal practice for any request for investigation involves naming all individuals that are to be investigated
A swans fan in peace I was a miner throughout the 84/85 strike that is where the tories and the establishment learnt to control all elements of the police and press and TV. The west/south yorkshire police after a big enquiry were found to have fitted up over 200 miners from all over britain during the battle of Orgreave they had to pay millions out in compensation the west/south yorkshire police force was rotten to the core. Make no mistake the disgusting cover up of the Hillsborough tragedy would have gone all the way to No 10. It was the culture of the time the police were Maggies puppets during those times. It is a disgrace that the families and the people of liverpool have had to go 23 years before getting the truth. YNWA
