You are nearer the truth than you think. I got hit by one on the thigh but as I had about a billion lira notes in my pocket (worth about £4.32) thankfully no lasting damage occurred :)

Those were the days, we were all millionaires and a cup of coffee cost over a grand. Even my Olivetti calculator had extra double and triple zero keys.

I used to work in an accounts office using Olivettis, both manual and electric. Those double and treble 0 keys were a godsend...

Havn't been around for a bit, just had a chance to see this thread.

Glad to truth is out, sureal moment when you realise just how many lies and wrong doings only compounded peoples grief.

I watched it on tv as many others and it left me cold to football for a couple of years and confused about what really took place, I do remember going to games with dad and always being made to go to a 'safe spot', which meant sometimes being virtually on the pitch or sitting on railings, scary to think.

    Thank god times have changed.

Took the engine apart on my car, seemed like a good idea. At the time.

Its going to a fat man called paul on monday who has the worlds biggest staffie tied up outside his house. Nice chap though, once he'd stopped laughing he agreed to undo my efforts and start again.

    live and learn.
