I'm not a particularly big fan of this rule, and the reason is that, come the end of the season in the USA and Brazil, there will be virtually no drivers to choose from, or if there are, everyone will likely choose the same pairing, bringing an anticlimactic run home. Also, what if the drivers in the championship hunt at the end are from different tiers? - i.e. A two-way fight between Raikkonen in Tier 1 and Alonso in Tier 2? Nay for me I'm afraid, sorry.

Are you sure, Miggs? Or is that an educated guess?

Off-topic (perhaps?): I've not seen evidence of AbsolutelyGlorious since Sunday either…

lol, no it was a joke, I think genji said he is away for a week or so. which is why RR did the points for the sweepstake.

Sorry, chaps - I haven't forsaken you, I've just had more on my plate than I anticipated. I'll sort it all out (inc. Fred's belated choice) probably over the weekend and post up the Singapore thread shortly afterwards.

Good to see you back, sport. I realised Miggins was probably correct.

Right... cosicave's oversight hasn't dented his lead too much and while our Italian GP winner rightly deserves a round of applause and drinks...

    CONGRATULATIONS

... it has been another disappointing weekend for stalwarts like Kyle? and Miggins.

    Let me check...

EDIT: My humblest apologies, JC. I had applied add-ons to your second choice that you didn't ask for. I understand how it happened so that particular problem won't occur again.

I've corrected the results now but if anyone else wants to query the scores please let me know. <ok>

OK... the Italian GP also marked this season's final Grand Slam event and, by the narrowest of margins, Julius Caesar picked up the 25-point bonus by having one extra second-choice tier-topper.

This doesn't affect the individual winner of the Italian GP since all-four Grand Slam events contributed but I have had to list the points under the Italian GP in the new Standings:
