    One horse for me.

    2:55 Doncaster: Kailani 8/1 (Nap)

Looked a really exciting prospect when winning at Newmarket in listed compnay- dotting up. The conditions are spot on for her here and I think she was also ridden all wrong the last twice- sat out the back. She is a strong stayer and takes a while to get wound up when outpaced, so the softer ground is absolutely perfect and I'm relishing this chance for her to put a couple of disappointing starts behind her.

Been saying for a while that she would relish a truer test and at 1m 6f, she gets it today.

Parliament Square rates a cracking bet at 6/1 in my opinion. Won a maiden then a listed race before a very creditable third behind reckless abandon in France last time. George Vancouver hardly franked the form at the weekend but he ran as if something was amiss so I'm willing to give the form of that race another chance. I'm not sure this is the greatest quality race either and the ballydoyle team wouldn't be coming over for just one ride if they didn't fancy it's chances!

He is the class horse BT but the framing of this event means he has to give lumps of weight away and the extra half furlong might just stretch him.He is well drawn though and the stable did win the race last year.

Doncaster 1.50 Sentaril 9/2 with Hills

Hills, and literaly every other bookie, are bigger than Ladbrokes on the first 5 in the betting for this, so if you didnt already know, steer well clear of that rancid firm and their joke prices.

    Doncaster 2.55 Estimate 10/3

    Epsom 2.00 Keenes Pointe 4/1

I put up Presto Volante on Monday, he was a non runner then, goes today in the last at chepstow, I reckon he has a better chance in this race if anything.

Flyman is interesting in the 3rd at Donny. Beat some useful horses lto on his second run, looks a very game horse and can stick his neck out late on I hope.

wild coco is screaming out to me as an absolute banker but I just can't bring myself to back her after her two awful runs towards the end of last season. I don't think she is a filly to place maximum faith in and at he price I think I'll leave it

PP can be pretty 'rancid' too with their early prices. Got fed-up with them in the end. Their ads might be 'funny' (?) sometimes, but their boasts are quite inaccurate IMHO.

Their 'free bet' offers are cons too. Don't trust 'em.

Really interesting to see the Brocklesby winner My Boy Bill is out for what is only his 2nd run of the season/ever today in 2yo stakes. More than likely the pot is just too good to turn down so he will take his chance. Cast your mind back to the Brocklesby if you will, My Boy Bill was stone last and almost tailed off 2f out before absolutely Flying home (with a capital F) in the final furlong to just get home ahead. The form of the race looks ok too with 2nd that day Well Acquainted running 2nd of 19 behind Hototo. Heavy Metal also finished some way back. Obviously the form of a 2yo race on the opening day of the season should be taken with a pinch of salt but My Boy Bill beat some talented horses in the most ridiculous fashion. The money wasn't down for him so I can't imagine connections expected such a performance that day. I don't really know why he hasn't been seen since that day but I'm fascinated to see how he runs today.

I'm giving pure excellence another chance in the Donny opener. Backed ew but disappointed to only get 10's when 20's was supposedly available!

Really fancy parliament square but at the weights I can't have him has to give a stone to htoto for a 2.5l defeat so is well of at the weights ! The gold chegorism of a featherweight looks good but being a coolmore fan I will go with parliament square to show huge improvement again

Big fan of the Godolphin filly Gamilati. I think she is a class act. But her comeback run from injury was shocking. Will take a chance that she will bounce back to form today at 15/2
