I brought success to QPR and I will bring success to Birmingham City - Gianni Paladini Gianni PaladiniGIANNI Paladini has revealed that there would be no four-year plans if he was successful in taking control of Birmingham City. Rather, it would be a one-year plan to get Blues back into the big time. Paladini made a wry reference to the eye-opening documentary about QPR, The Four Year Plan, which showed fly-on-the-wall footage of him and Flavio Briatore at Loftus Road as the club strived to reach the Premier League. âIf our consortium gets the club, we need promotion this season or the next season,â stated Paladini. âNot in four yearsâ time â itâs a one-year plan. âBirminghamâs squad is not bad. It maybe needs another four players, maybe another striker. âWe believe that we can help bring success; with the right people we can take Birmingham up.â Paladini and Co â more so Briatore â came in for huge criticism for the forthright and dismissive manner in which they dealt with managers and various situations â even picking the team â at Loftus Road. Great comment!: Roger_me1 10:39 AM on 13/9/2012 Sound's like a promising candidate to take over at the club. But being Birmingham fan's we have to be weary. I don't mind who takes the club over as long as their sensible with the finances, and slowly build the club, unlike the slow dismantling seen by the current owners. "Weary fan's" indeed...
I really wonder if Brum fans even know whats coming, in a town who's best fashion outlet is matalan or primark....... maybe even George at Asda how the hell are they going to understand the meaning of the word "BOUTIQUE".!!!! Most brummies cant even understand English so Italian is gonna be way beyond their comprehension.
If I had a sister and was born somewhere that had high levels of inbreeding then conceivably yes but I'm afraid you are mistaken. Breath deeply and count to 10 - I know you can do that, it's in your name. Is there any reason why you're such an angry young/old man/woman?
The difference here is that at the time promotion to the PL for QPR was the main aim. For Birmingham who have been there and done that recently its more a case of getting promotion AND getting established in the PL that would define real success. That requires a huge investment as we have seen. I can't see how the get rich quick team of Paladini/Briatori have either the mindset or the cash to get that done.
Yea a source also tells me that that are drawing up a 4year contract for Tommasi and Del Piero on 40k a week as their star signings at Birmingham!
I don't know how to break it to him/her but I'm fully comitted to my tracta [sic] driving sister and my collection of deformed turnips. If only things had been different.....
If Paladini is drawing up any type of contract it wont be in the usual way, his will involve crayons, no joined up writing and stick men. If Birmingham need a new owner who will spend **** loads of money on agents, personally borrow money from the club in the form of an interest free loan and employee their own family members as 'consultants' they have found the right man.
