Pretty safe to say he is now, he's stated before he intends to stay here for his career. Obviously everything can change suddenly but he's certainly loyal for now.
Also when he was a kid was the time of Evertons glory years, why do newspapers even think Everton is a potentially bigger club than Saints? they are always skint, if Moyes was not such a miricle worker then they would have been in the **** years ago. Why would a player move to a club that would sell him if they recieved a good profit?
Perhaps it came across as too harsh in the writing. I don't tend to go along with what other people say if the person them self says differently. Lallana used to support Saints before he joined the Academy. He has actually said that and you can even find the odd interview where the subject is mentioned [immediate post JPT Final match interview with Mark Clemmit, springs to mind]. I put the Lallana-Everton support link into the same context as when I was 10, I had a soft spot for Chelsea because Peter Osgood played for them. But my allegiance was to Saints.
Everton would not gamble on the fee involved in taking Adam away from the Saints. So, they can admire from afar, but nothing more.
Adam was born AFTER Everton's glory years so not sure where that statement above comes from. Their glory years were early to mid eighties
Love that feeling when it's one of your own on the pitch. When Harris scored vs Crawley you could see what it meant to him. He celebrated with us. We've got 5+ PFC fans in our squad, and I love it cos you know they'll give 150%.
Actually, they've had a few glory eras. Probably the most notable is late 60's-early 70's. They were League Champions in 1970, with a ball passing midfield line up of Colin Harvey, Howard Kendall & Alan Ball, and pretty much the top centre forward in Joe Royle. At the time, there was none better.
