Spot on SB, it would be just like Peru to make that 5th spot and then lose to Australia!!!! The similarities between following Peru and the Rs are uncanny!
Yep, RTID have been in touch with out mutual friend, he promised me a programme from the Swans game!!!

Only problem Imaz is that our most gifted players all play their club football at sea-level! Manager has plans to draft in a few players from teams playing at altitude for Bolivia game

Well good luck to Peru - after last night it doesn't look like you'll have to worry about playing the "mighty" Canadians. Mighty poor that is

Come back some time Oslo, the roads have improved as have the buses! I remember as a kid it taking us 36hrs to get from Lima to Arequipa as we broke down in the desert for 16hrs!
I remember the Peru Scotland game vividly as I was watching it with some Scottish friends! 3 1 to Peru, stunning Cubillas free kick!

Keep them Peru progress reports coming Mr T. Reckon you're getting us hooked!

Funny you seeing similarities between supporting Rangers and Peru. Someone said the same about Rangers and England the other day. D'you reckon it's cos those teams are all upwardly mobile... or just basically mediocre?!!!

I think it's the rollercoaster ride of supporting both Peru and the Superhoops, they have both given me great pleasure and much frustration over the years. We always seem on the verge of achieving something big and then... Arriba Peru! You Rssssssssssssss

Right. Now you've gone and done it. I'm feeling an interminable soft spot for Peru coming on... just what I need - another roller-coaster experience!! (Carry on like this and you'll be encouraging kids to smoke next!)
