    Just got this off NUFC.com

Normally I'd have been going to the game, but a 7:45 ko and £45.00 for a game which will probably be played by a mainly reserve team is a bit too much of a put off. I'll watch it on the box and have an early night instead.
    ________________________________________________________

Our League Cup Third Round tie away at Manchester United will be televised live by Sky Sports with a 7.45pm kick-off on Wednesday September 26th.

Ticket details are now available and incredibly they are charging away fans £45 for what will effectively be a reserves game live on TV - even Chelsea slashed their prices to £20 for our League Cup visit back in 2010.

It's a shame there are so many Mags who can't choose not to attend. Punishment for blind loyalty once more.

The tie will be played to a finish on the night via additional time and/or penalty kicks if required and comes between Premier League games at home to Norwich City and away to Reading.

    AB, don't miss it.

I have seen the future and we will win 18-17 in sudden death of a penalty shoot out following a 5-5 draw when we come back from 4-0 down.

Xisco will score the winning penalty.

Boy, I need to stop sniffing this stuff.

You didn't highlight the rest though, so does beating Man U 18-17 in sudden death of a penalty shoot out following a 5-5 draw when we come back from 4-0 down seem reasonable then?

For a cold Wednesday night, it sounds very reasonable.

Good, I'm putting £1 on that then - I believe the odds at William Hill are 1,500,000,000 to 1

I hope you'll get the drinks in when you pick your winnings up.

The ticket prices for this game are extortionate, I'm beginning to question the price of many away games now, ticket prices are definitely putting me off.

They put them up thinking that we're soft touches. Seems to be the thing to do these days. I've heard a few guys grumbling about it and saying they aren't going on princible.
