England to play Rep of Ireland

England are playing ROI in May.

I remember last time we played them back in '95. I rushed home from work and went down the boozer with my old boy to watch the game.

I remember thinking what a disgrace our fans were.Someone could have been killed that night.

 

Wasn't it Combat 18 with a mixture of Unionists from Northern Ireland and England?

I've seen some of the footage, but i was too young to see it live.

 

Not sure mate but whoever it was they were hell bent of causing agro.

I'm trying to think if that was the only England game abandoned due to crowd trouble?

Even when the sweaties used to wreck Wembley on a regular basis during the 70's they at least had the decency to wait until after the game.

 

Talking about the Jocks, they're coming down to play a match at Wembley and all. Love to go.

Some my relatives may have attended that match where they took down the posts & a few are in the cringeworthy Tartan Army. If you think the twat with the drum at England matches is annoying, you should hear the crap these lot produce.

 

When's that happening? I wasn't aware the heathens were heading down south.

 

Next year mate- 14th August 2013. Quite like the Auld Enemy matches.

Another meaningless game just before the new season starts. So much for No more August Internationals.

Why and for what reason ? Another waste of time after a long hard season.
