I remember climbing up on the green girders at the back when I was a kid to get a better view. Anytime there was a goal scored or whatever, all the kids would back-heel the metal boards at the back to create a helluva racquet.

Remember an early Old Firm game I went to, was my 1st time in the jungle for one - lost 0-1, Durrant scoring. The noise was ****ing unreal, and there was all sorts getting lobbed through the big mesh fence thing that seperated the Rangers end from us. Changed my season ticket for the jungle after that season, was ****in brilliant. Think it was only 1 season later they demolished it though?

My abiding memory of the Jungle was the disgusting excuse for toilet facilities. I've seen bogs at music festivals which were better.

It was easier to cut through the bogs than the sort of flat terrace step halfway up so most folk went through the lavvies to get to their "spot"

    Awful.

I usually stood at the "choir" - numbers 4 and 5 up the back of the Celtic end.

    Lavvies were marginally better <ok>

I used to stand in the Celtic end near the front next to the Jungle, where the guy used to shout "Ersyer Riggly's Speermint chewing gum and yer makkarune Bers"

And before any smart Alec pipes up, no, it was not me who used to sell chewing gum and sweeties.

I've invited myself here, so you can all **** off and look at this, not you Dev, you've got your tray of macaroons to get ready for the next match.
