so what happens if I want to play an unranked head to head match with a 2 star team against a 5 star team, with this new 1st touch control, am i basically screwed and have to walk the ball into the net? because according to fifa all players in the lower divisions can't control a ball.
They can't, they can't control passes either. You won't be able to do long passes or passes in the air they suck that bad. So you're just have to do short passes and get beaten about 5-0 all the time.
Even Southampton's control is pretty **** and their a Prem team.
As long as you're not sprinting when you control it suddenly, then your control is pretty much the same...
I will get this as always and as always I will be gash , I for one can not wait for GTA5 . playing 4 at the moment still a great game .
I actually happen to agree... Controlling it is only dodgy when you're trying to take a big first touch while sprinting which is obviously a difficult thing to do.
I'm really bad at attacking on the demo, though. Can't seem to get in a position to get a decent effort away.
Have you played as the lesser teams or just the demo?.
Teams 3stars and below are awful at control, some teams even take 3 touchs to countrol a normal pass.
Everyone will be used to the ball just hitting you and gaining perfect control.

There are bad players on the demo - I have little problem controlling the ball with the 64 rated Carl Jenkinson and the 60 rated Nico Yennaris, for example.
He is a world class player compared to some, the team they play for also helps their passing stats etc. How fluid your attack is also facted in, Arsenal are one of the best pacing teams in the game.
I'm not saying the new control system is a bad thing what I am saying it is OP on alot of teams.It needs to be made more balanced, you'll see what I mean when you get the full game.
I've got a 360 with live but can't find the demo in the store. Don't know what kind of subscription I have, had a feeling it was gold but perhaps not if you lot have had no problems. Just to clarify, is the demo only out for gold members atm? And if so when is it released for other xbox live users?
Played all the Skill Games (Bronze) and passed them all with long passing the hardest but I had to do it with Subutic!!
But now I have the PES 2013 demo v2 which also has skill games which are 10x harder like you have to do 1st touch and score and it took me literally 25 mins, I challenge you all, the hardest thing ever!!
