For 8m.. woah that would be amazing for such a class player. Bags of experience and proven quality at this level.

 

He came out as being a fan of Shearer and not a fan of Newcastle around the time he signed for Manure.

It's fine, I just reckon if he signed for us and we gave him the No.9 shirt I reckon he'd give 100% to the club to try and be like Shearer, never know, stranger things have happened!

 

For 8 million, definitely worth a punt. For 18 million? Definitely not.

 

Carlton Cole for £10m, or Dimitar Berbatov for £8m.

lazy ****. inconsistent. all 21 of his goals this season have come in just 11 games. he'll score a hattrick, then go on a dozen game barren spell.

also doesn't do it in the big games. in his entire time with us, the only time he's come off the bench to score has been against bolton a few weeks back. once in 3 years!

there was a stat released after a game with chelsea (last season i think) that showed petr cech covered more ground over the 90 minutes prowling his area than this lazy ****er did playing up front.

Shola vs. Cole.. even Shola has his days(very few though) but Cole's just been generally very poor this season and we are always somehow linked to him..

 

been a couple of days since this thread started, is there anything new thats come out that may back up the rumour?

go and get Wijnaldum from feyenoord, watching him play today and was top notch vs psv, the funny thing is when ever he has scored this season feyenoord have not lost...... very good omen lol
