If all the creditors are paid off and the CVA paid up to date, will we still get a 10 point deduction for coming out of Administration again?
Having had two Arab owners that turned out to be as poor as a Mosque Mouse, I would have dismissed this story if it was April 1st. If Al Fahim is involved I honestly don't see it being any better than the leech Chainrai taking over
According to Auntie this is a fall back option as TB has set a deadline of 14/9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19543395
As I understand it - the first points deduction (9pts PL) was for going into administration while we were in the Prem. The second points deduction (10pts FL) was for going into administration in the Championship. The third points deduction will be applied when we come out of administration because the 1st CVA failed and because the creditors of the 1st CVA weren't given the opportunity to vote for the 2nd CVA. Baker Tilly voted on their behalf but the FL says they want the creditors themselves to vote. If you remember a short while ago there was a call from the club for the previous creditors to get in touch urgently with Trevor Birch, that was why.
Well, I hope they're loaded, and we splash the cash next Summer, buying every player there is worth purchasing .. That'll do nicely. Not to much too ask ??
You guys need a bit of good fortune. If they get rid of Chanrai and Gaydamac and involve the trust that will be a bonus but the really important thing is do they have money and is it clean?
Hello Pompeii Sampras . Yes seems he is involved . Could be the real deal . Offering the post a seat on the board no investment required .
SAF says on Twitter "I hope I can open a UK bank account in time.." Some bloke responds with "I work for Santander, I can open you an account within 20 mins.." SAF replies"I will follow you and you can PM me details..." Seriously what's wrong with this guy
Seriously, this guy is often in England - I find it hard to believe that he hasn't got an account/access to an account here. Just when you think it can't get any worse..............
I'm sure one of our former owners could open up a bank account for him in Latvia or Lithuania - they must know some decent banks.......
This new bid isn't the "real deal". If they were, why would TB need to ask them for proof of funds after allegedly being in contact for two weeks? If they had the money they would surely have stumped up. IMO the time has passed for us to have a "wait and see" attitude. Far to often its ended in tears and this isn't just isolated to Pompey. When it comes to football club ownership I have in a sort of "guilty until proven innocent" mindset.
If I didn't know better I'd think this was all a spoof - but it's real. Just copied a tweet conversation for you. Read it and weep. SulaimanAlfahim ‏@TheRealSulaiman Time is so important for #pompey hopefully we can open uk bank account before the deadline. And be part of the bid. 7h James McCoy James McCoy ‏@jimccoy19 @TheRealSulaiman I work for Santander, I could open you a bank account in 20 mins Sulaiman. #pfc #banking 6h SulaimanAlfahim SulaimanAlfahim ‏@TheRealSulaiman @jimccoy19 I will follow you and inform me via private message
