    <laugh> Bastard.

Just read it back maybe I mentioned paying payments to clubs who should receive the payments or staff who should receive the payments. Still when talking about payments you can never mention payments too much <whistle>

    PAYMENTS.

I don't think its to do with payments as such. Its more to do with outstanding money owed to clubs on transfers or it could mean un-paid ticket revenue to other clubs from games. This hasn't to do with the league, as the home side keeps the revenue, but its to do with cup competitions when the revenue is split.

The use of the word ''Payments'' is vague. They were probably more specific, it possibly could be the two areas I mentioned in my previous post. If it were ''payments'' it would be more generic, as it could be anything. I just tried to break it down slightly.

Ive noticed ppl mentioning Porto being on the list but i for one cannot see how they would be short in money given the crazy transfer money they have gained in the last few seasons.

Well, basically these clubs owe paltry sums to each other and to even smaller clubs. Partizan, owes something in the tens of thousands of euros - less than most of City's players per week. These aren't long term debts either, they're usually one or two weeks backlogged due to some crazy circumstance.

For example, UEFA fines Partizan for it's fans looking intimidating in Europe and the club has to pay 80k euros. That's a lot to us, we survive year to year on big money signings such as Savic, Nastasic, Jovetic, Ljajic, etc and without those we're skint. So we stop paying our players for 2 weeks (our players don't whine or complain) and that money goes to UEFA. Then we take the money that was owed to FC Sheepherder from Little Sheephaven for some young player and give it to the players. We tell FC Sheepherder that we'll pay them with the Europa League money and they agree. The only one that gets ripped off temporarily is the small club, who know that they will get the money + interest eventually and are in no rush to collect from us (low overhead/maintenance fees).

Then UEFA, holding our first bag of cash steps in on behalf of FC Sheepherder and claims they won't give us the Europa League money until we pay out our outstanding debts. So we don't pay our players for 2 weeks, pay off our debts to FC Sheepherder and then ask UEFA for the cash. They say, sorry, no can do. You owe too much to the players. So then we pay them off with our transfer budget, the window ends, and we finally get our cash from UEFA.

So we end up promoting from within instead of expanding our league with foreign players. we sell them for a profit and recruit new ones from smaller clubs. Repeat for eternity.

UEFA basically just laughing their way to the bank for decades while promising financial equality.
