According to Scott Jones on Twitter who seems to have some good insite information within the club the Mittals and Amit are due to leave QPR. He has tweeted as much. Surely rubbish but the guy does have links with the club and has got things right in the past. I hope its not true.....
There was a newspaper story a while ago that, if you read it carefully, only says that the Mittals CONSIDERED an exit in the summer. The fact that they did not sell their share and the fact that Bhatia continues to be closely, visibly and enthusiastically involved in the club suggested, to me at least, that the story was a non-story. There is nothing new out there online today and I suspect this is nothing more than Scott being in WUM mode - which would not be a first.
You see the trouble with Jones is he still thinks he has connections at the club but the reality is that particular gravy train came to an end when Paladini was shown the door.
Must have pushed the wrong buttons in my De Lorean this morning. Like going back in the past with threads about Briatore, Paladini and Gallen, Mittal's leaving and all! Now, back to the future for me please.
By his own admission he said that he would purposely say things with paladini near people to see if it would end up in the paper. Can see the same thing here.
Yes, today he tweeted to the effect that he and Paladini used to make up various stories and see which ones would make the papers. If that's true it means he got a kick out of putting falsehoods into the public domain and thereby worrying QPR fans unduly.
I don't believe there's any substance in this; however, if Amit and the Mittals were to walk, what, if any, would the effect be on our plans? Is Lakshi Mittal the munificent benefactor behind the scenes doling out millions while keeping a low profile, or is he keeping his hands in his pockets and keeping a low profile while TF and his consortium are playing with their own cash? I suspect we'll only find out if the rumour is indeed true.
Well if Tony Fernandes doesn't squash the rumour before his next tweet, then there is truth. He is always spot on at putting these things to bed.
I don't believe great funds are coming from the Mittals. Otherwise they'd want full control. From the start, they've come along for the ride, leaving primary management to others but using their prudent business skills for the benefit of the club. I hope they are happy and the status quo is maintained, but it must be remembered that they did want to get full control from the goons (but blew it with an uncharacteristically ham-fisted approach to Ecclestone). I would be disappointed but not gobsmacked if they went for another club. Alternatively, they may seek a bigger shareholding at QPR in return for funds for the running of the club. Their success would depend on how much cash TF has behind him at present, which is the big unknown.
Does he really need to respond to every mentally challenged person on twitter. Read the bullshit in Jones's twitter tag about him being a journo, he's full of ****.
Am i right in thinking that if it is Mr Mittal putting in all the money then it would be very strange for him to want to pull out very soon after ?? Am i also right in thinking that if Mr Mittal ISNT putting in the money and is just leaving it up to Tony's consortium, then him walking away wouldn't make a whole lot of difference ?? I just need some reassurance here fellas....
this is from that homeless 'donut' who craves attention. Don't waste your time on him. i also read yesterday that the Mittals are involved in all major things at the club and Mr Mittal want's to be involved. People want as to fall it's as simple as that. We have a good ship and great owners. Just enjoy things and look forward to the 'sneakers' on Sat and let the muppet ramble on in his deluded world.
First logical fact to point out is that Forbes List TF as having a net worth of 615m and Mittal as having a net worth of 20bn. So we would need 32.5 TF’s on the board to have the equivalent wealth. The Mittals are the guys with the real money. Without them our spending power is fairly mediocre. I would imagine they at least match or outstrip TF in spending terms. I know for certain that the funding for the training ground was underwritten by Mittal which is indicative of there involvement. If there is any truth to the Mittals leaving rumours (which I hope and imagine there is not) it wouldn’t surprise me if at least part of its basis comes from TF taking all the limelight while the contribution of Mittals and Bhatia gets overlooked. While both the Mittals and TF are great for this club we need the Mittals more than we need TF.
Since I joined twitter, for the sole purpose of keeping up on news regarding Qpr, I have followed and acquired some absolute bell ends. The endless crap they tweet makes me fear for the human race. But to date, Scott jones is the only person I have actually unfollowed, the guy is a first class tool, who came top of his class in tool school, in the country of tooldom. The guy was so proud to have connections with palidini, even at a time when most Qpr fans wanted to lynch him. He is a very sad attention seeker who misses his little pal at rangers.
Some statements of the bleeding obvious here. The Mittals are wealthier than TF. You don't say? But TF has a syndicate behind him. How much is that worth? If the Mittals really are putting big money in, then they would want CONTROL. They don't have that at the moment, unless TF is a puppet, and I don't think he is.
Could the mods please ban QPRSAM82 on the grounds that he has spoiled my lunch with this suggestion. Thank you.
No he doesn't, but he usually does. I'm not fussed anyway, don't believe Scott Jones anyway, he's a bell end.
