His statement is inaccurate and the argument is flawed. "The club ceased to be subject to the SPL’s rules when it was ejected from its league." Not true, the old club went into the process of liquidation and the new club applied for SPL status. As the new club never received approval to join the SPL it cannot have been ejected from an organisation it was never part of. "Neither the SPL, nor its commission, has any legal power or authority over the club because it is not in the SPL. For that reason it has no legal basis on which to appoint its commission. " The investigation refers to a period when the old Rangers was in the SPL so the current status of the organisation is not a valid point to use as a disclaimer for non participation. Charles Green could have put a solid argument forward for not participating in this investigation and no one could have countered its merit. He could have said that as the new club has no relevance to the actions of the old club he has no obligation to comply with the SPL investigation. Unfortunately that argument wouldn't have gone down well with the mindless masses that refuse to accept the truth: that the old Rangers is no more and the new club is a brand new footballing entity. Believe what you want, though, you're only proving to the rest of Scottish football how gullible you are
