Medical reports to determine the severity of the injury are awaited.

    Still the last I've heard.

Agree totally, it's nonsense to be playing them so soon into a new season. Ba, Cisse, Krull, Cabaye, Tiote all at risk, and if Benny continues to perform so well, he is sure to get recalled by the French squad.
It,s a real double edged sword to have internationals in the team is great, but then you have to run the risk of losing them to injury. Can't win really.

Can people please stop posting articles about injuries or transfers if twitter is their only source.

If you must, then please pick a specific source and link us to it. If it's just a load of random people, then don't both posting it.

**** you, I was asking a question, hence the question mark in the title. I can't find out myself as I'm at work until 9pm.

I live in hope that it will not be a serious injury. Don't see why Argentina would be keeping him with the squad if it was a six weeker and there was no chance of him being fit to play.

Hows Perch doing with his neck injury?

This does seem to be your pet hate Tash...Its a free football forum and lets be honest, its more relevant than your own articles on Judge Dredd or any of mine about finishing exams/CVs etc. I think you should adopt the same mentality that you tell others to take when reading your OT stuff - if you don't like it, don't read it...Rather than post a comment like you did, if someone mentions twitter, just move your mouse button up to the top of the screen and press the the X!

As for the OP, no idea, but this wouldn't surprise me...All the good work from last season could potentially be undone in the coming weeks...

Having said that, I have enough faith in Staylor, Williamson and Perch to perform against the sides we'd be expecting 3 points from. And potentially Having Williamson as the 'destroyer' winning the first balls and Staylor as the ball playing CB sweeping everything up they could be returning to more natural roles.

Anita at RB isn't such a major problem to our tactics as Simpson was generally targeted anyway and our teams are set up to counter that. If him and Santon switch then we'll just play the opposite way. I think our biggest loss will be Tiote (if he's not back in time for Everton) because Cabaye has been **** in the centre and although Bigi was great there last week, we can't expect him to be bossing Fellaini or Pienarr!

I think we're all living in hope that Colo's injury isn't as bad as first thought, it would be a big blow to have him out for a long period.

Not heard any updates on Perch's injury as yet.

It is a free forum, but I'm sick of seeing titles like "Colo out for 6 weeks", ****ting myself, then seeing "well, derp, I heard that a bunch of people on twitter were saying..."

At least post a link to a reasonable twitter source.

And everyone posts OT articles at times. It's not the same as people posting articles about injuries/transfers/big news ect and having no source or "I heard people on twitter were saying".

I put OT next to the title and the subject is clear, if the subject doesn't interest you then you don't click it. But things like this are going to grab all our attention.

I see these articles and hope to see a source. If we all posted articles on twitter rumours, we'd be flooded with ****.

At the end of the day we all knew Saylor & Colo would each get injured/suspended at some point, we also all knew that Williamson isn't a strong enough CB to cover either of these for a sustained period of time. Our board/manager also knew this was a possibility and chose to do nothing about it.

Our next five games are very compact (playing every 3/4 days) and we will undoubtedly suffer due to this. I fear we're not quite good enough to be playing catch up with the top 6/7 after only 6 league games.

We had money to spend, only the board & Pardew know why this wasn't done. Keeping our top players was great, but if that's our sole aim every window then last season will be as good as it gets for a while.

Not taking away from the great job Pardew and even the board have done over the past 18 months, however one poor transfer window can wipe away a lot of that good work, let's just hope that isn't the case after the most recent window.

Agreed. The fact that we made the exact same mistake last year, and never learn, is ****ing annoying.

Who the **** died and made you the thread Police?!?

I wasn't making a statement that he is out for 6 weeks which was clear by the presence of a question mark in the title of the thread. I'd seen it on my twitter app that some people were mentioning he was out for 6 weeks. I had no way of confirming for myself as I was at work, so I thought I'd ask a question on the not606 app, seems as though it's suposed to be friendly on this forum.

If you didn't want to read it you didn't have to, you could have hovvered over the thread title to see it was a twitter question rather than bitching about it like a fanny!!

Anyways, looks like Krul is out for a weeks or 2 aswell now!!

It was reported in the Chronicle that he had twittered that he would be back for Everton - - not the most authoratative quote in the world but the best I've heard
