As is UIR who still claims that Manchester United can beat the FFP, and are more cash rich than either Liverpool and Arsenal despite Liverpool and Arsenal having no interest repayments.

Manchester Uniteds time is up, and Quick fix fergie knows it.

I see where you've been struggling. You think that because United have a debt against the club that they can't have any cashflow. You believe this to be the case because you are very stupid.

Say I have a mortgage of 500k and have to pay 3k a month in mortgage payments. I earn 6k a month so after I've paid the mortgage I have 3k to spend on drugs and prostitutes.

You don't have a mortgage as you live off the state. Your various benefits bring in £800 a month. Despite me having a mortgage and you having no debts to pay off I am still considerably richer than yowwww when it comes to disposable income. When the mortgage has been paid off I will also have a valuable asset which you could come round and clean for me, I won't tell the dole office, we can do a cash in hand deal.

Takes two to tango, though. I don't think anyone is covering themselves in glory here. Trying to persuade someone against their will is pointless.
Whatever anyone thinks of SKD's opinion, I don't see any Damascene epiphany overtaking him any time soon.
What should have been an interesting discussion on an important topic for all of us interested in the game, has descended into the usual tired old rivalry stuff.

What does having interest repayments have to do with how cash rich you are?

Depends on the purpose of using said machine. Sweats likes to stick his finger up his bum then still on the machine whilst its on. Neither power or detergent is required <ok>

Presumably that's why he's interested in washing machines.

Let me explain in simple terms.
A club makes £200 million in revenue, its pays out £100 million in wages and has interest repayments of £70 million, therefore it only has £30 million to reinvest. Wouldn't it rather have the whole £100 million to invest? You can change the figures around, but you will come up with the same outcome. Manchester United are losing money they shouldn't be losing.

Thats how the FFP will operate, its all expenses will be accounted for, and clubs can only spend whats left. However the clubs that will benefit will be the ones that cut expenses and increase commercial growth. Not the ones that are saddled with enormous interest repayments.

You are confusing profit for cashflow though KPR but thanks for the explaining <ok>

A club can make accounting losses and still have millions in the bank.

You're forgetting something, the FFP will take accounting losses into account. Supposing and this is being realistic, Manchester United make £250 million in revenue, and their total expense bill is £220 million after tax has been deducted, and the Glazers take their reported dividend. that leaves them with £30 million to spend on players.

I don't disagree with that. It was more aimed at you linking profits to cash where I was correcting you.
