If you have bought your season ticket in the Loft and also claimed that you are taking your kids with you can anyone on this forum say for certain that it is not then possible to "sell" your kids' seats which, I might add, you got for free? How rigorous would the enforcement be in reality? All the turnstiles do is go bing when a genuine bar code is detected and you are allowed into the ground. Are the stewards on the look out for adults in what should be kids seats? Are there any controls in place that can be enforced (in the real world folks) to stop someone selling on their free kids seats on Viagogo or the like for what ever money they can get? I've been thinking that the whole family stand thing has been open to abuse but was pleased to see the Loft packed against Swans on the opening day and I'm sure against the likes of the Scum it will also be full but what about games against the teams who don't bring away fans in great numbers or evening games? Will a steward have the right to turf out someone who paid to sit in what should be a child's seat? Can a site like Viagogo check this sort of detail? Answers on a postcard.
For games that are sold out (which should be most of them now) I can't for the life of me work out why the club can't just run their own scheme now that all the tickets are digital. Phone up the box office and tell them to make your seat available; they sell it with a small transaction fee and give you a discount on next season's ST.
