I'm sure you'll find the scales of justice swing in our favour!

I remember taking a flight from Stansted to Cork, on which a young child bawled incessantly the entire (75 minute) journey. As we disembarked, the "proud" father just sat there grinning at everyone as if to say 'oh what fun we've all had...' <grr>
Thank flook I wasn't on long haul to Sydney or Auckland <ok>

At least on a train you have the option of changing carriages.

Ithought Larder were supposed to be crap cars! Now they are putting fridges in them.

And you lot on the aeroplanes must be the whining I hear. And I thought it was the engines.

Talking of planes, I went to Norwich airport aviation museum last week.
    Access from Horsham St Faiths.
A nominal fee to get in, and an even smaller fee to have a guided tour - inside and out of a Vulcan bomber and a Nimrod reconnaissance plane both of which saw service in the Falklands.
The Nimrod still has it's teleprinter and telex machine installed <yikes>

A great afternoon out - and no whining engines - or kids!
