No Robbie James in his selection which seems a little strange.

Well, you can argue with his choices quite a lot actually.

No Robbie James, Nigel Stevenson as just missing out on an all time XI?!?!?, Ivor in Midfield, and to top it off he's included a lower league journeyman like Trundle ahead of a host of far superior strikers such as Jack Fowler, Herbie, Jason Scotland and Danny Graham.

I guess we know now why Curt's never been a manager.

Robbie james was a good player but not as good as Latchford or trundle so for me the legend curtis has it spot on....<ok>

Thats right he gone one higher...he played the game with some or saw every player that ever played for us....he would know who is the best, If he thought his best mate was better than latch or trunds then you can bet your life he would say so....

Can't argue with the selection really, Goalkeeper, Defence are spot on. I was surprised to see no Robbie James, his Midfield is fine but I would have thought Robbie would have been on the just missed out list. Up front Latchford wins hands down. I might have been tempted to play 5 in midfield with Robbie slotting in along side Leon with Ivor pushing more forward.

As much as I love Trundle but I wouldn't place him in my top 11 player team. He would make the bench though.

So, Robbie wasn't as good as Trundle eh?

    Completely, utterly, irretrievably, barking mad.

Robbie James was a great player. Lee Trundle had moments of greatness. Therein lies the difference,in my opinion.

I would say and curtis say its the other way around. robbie was a good player and he could also be terrible. He never had the same skill as what trundle had but he was tough......if it was a choice between either him or trundle in the team then there is no question....It would be trundle every time as he offered more to the team......

Sorry were all entitled to our opinion and mine is that Robbie was a much better player than Trundle.

Robbie James played and excelled at the highest levels of the game. Trundle topped out in Division Three.

We'll put it down to age on Curt's part and gibbering insanity on yours.

Curt can be as intimate as he likes with them but that don't make Lee Trundle a better player than Robbie James.

You seem awfully keen to let others do your thinking for you Dai. A lot of trouble could be avoided if you delegated the job to me. I'll see you right.

No Mel Charles either. Must have been tough to leave him out given the level of football he played and for so long.

Trundle came to the club when we were at the lowest point and singlehandedly raised the profile of the club. He put bums on seats and smiles on faces. He helped with the first steps of evolution of our club from the depths after that Hull game culminating in the win at Wembley. He quite rightly is classed as a Swans legend but better than Robbie ? I'd have to say no, but that's just me.
