Do you know how sponsorship and marketing works. You dont pay a larger sum to target a much smaller market. If you do then something dodgy is going on. United have the biggest fanbase even at the lower 330million figure and are the most desirable sports team on earth to sponsors. We are the most exposed club on earth, getting more airtime than any other. Sponsors want to pay us massive sums and these sponsors are not brothers to our owners
I know how marketing works. However you need something to sell in order to generate sponsorship. The face of Manchester United is Wayne Rooney, a fat talentless thug that swears at cameras, attacks corner flags, and after the amount of whores he's shagged, the only thing he can advertise is cream for genital warts.
