    England team:
Hart, Johnson, Baines, Gerrard, Lescott, Terry, Milner, Lampard, Defoe, Cleverley, Oxlade-Chamberlain

    In number order I think!

England manager Roy Hodgson says that Jermain Defoe was picked as he is "playing regularly for Tottenham and playing well."

1 goal in 3 games, against newcastle.
Rickie 2 in 3 games one against United one against City.

I've no problem with playing defoe, I reckon he's class, but why not even bring Rickie based on his own call up system?

Hang on, Hodgson was at St Mary's last week and picks Cleverley this week?? Probably says something about our available midfield options.

3-0. This should be a complete rout.

Oh dear, Moldova aren't very good. This is quite a nice England lineup though.

I generally think that we can do really well under Hodgson, with the exception of against Sweden, we've looked really solid at the back. We're still undefeated under Hodgson if you don't include Italy because it was over penalties. I'm glad we've scored at least three tonight so that should teach us to go for games more and not hang on to one nils, but a win's a win.

You can only play the team in front of you. I prefer England playing at pace, going for every ball. This is more like it...playing to our strengths. TBH, I can''t see Ricky in this team....more on the bench if a late goal is needed.

Oh well. Carrick and Cleverley both on now. All the Moldovan midfield needs to do is whisper "Schneiderlin" in their ears and they will be rendered useless.
