Really? I thought you were trying to type "or he". That would've made sense.

I believe the "St" in his name comes from the fact that Southampton FC are commonly known as "the Saints", but even if that weren't the case, I don't think he'd be offending anyone by calling himself a saint. Hell, I'll call myself The Pope if I want to.

Yeah in the 1880s. Should all non-Christians stop supporting the club then?

    I don't know any Kim.

You said that Godders shouldn't have "St" in his name if he's agnostic. That doesn't sound very tongue-in-cheek.

He was obviously being sarcastic following Godders' remark about blasphemy. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt, god knows he needs it.

Yes because I said Christ alive or something of that ilk he was apparently sticking up for the religious that come on here for fear they may be offended , in fact he was trying to score a cheap point a bit like you Kim as opposed to him ,

You're supposed to end sentences with a full stop not a comma by the way. You're having a great time of it today!

Mate if I wanted to "score a cheap point" there are plenty of ways I could do it. It's not exactly difficult to pick apart your arguments.

Can we just lock this quite pathetic thread that seems like it was designed to cause disagreement and go off topic.

What shall we discuss ? I am open for debate on Icelandic fishing quota's , comma's and fullstop's or the further bluring of lines between left and right to win the hearts and minds of middle England to win the election in a few years ?
Or we can discuss football .

Look guys I suggest we give it a break. I have used the ignore function for gomarchingin and if he hasn't already done so I suggest he does the same for me.

That way neither of us will be annoyed by the other's comments.
