Hi guys just purchased my ticket for Saturday looking forward to it how many do you think we will take
depends on the 'official' figure Barnet wish to release. ( last season it was just under 1000 ) At Dagenham - I couldn'e see an empty seat in the away stand ( holds 1200 ) - there were also a few Gills fans in the College stand. The away support was given as 988. Last season we appeared to take the 'same' number of fans to the corresponding fixture - the away support was given as 1302 ( four days after we took 1301 to our World Cup final at Crawley )
Last season's support at Barnet was fantastic always, if I remember rightly we managed to outdo the home support in numbers and quite obviously in volume! I'll be heading up to Underhill on Saturday to hopefully celebrate my 23rd in style.
Seems we have sold out this morning although 400 more tickets arriving tommoro then another 100 after that
KentPolice Football ‏@kentpolicefooty #Gills fans heading to #Barnet on Sat head to designated away pub 'The Old Red Lion'. 800+ tickets pre sold with pay on the gate available
I will be in The Old Red Lion from about 12.00pm as I can just simply get the Northern Line tube from the Angel.
QUOTE=TheBatchinator;3449937]The old red lion is 5 minutes from the ground... I went there last year before the game, nice pub.[/QUOTE] ok - I may have slightly exaggerated - it's actually one mile from the ground. Now I'm sure you're no Usain Bolt - so I think that 5 minutes is a little optomistic ( even if it's all downhill ) - just letting people know - so that each can leave in good time to see the start of the match.
800+ fans going, and they recommend they go to the designated away pub? Gonna be a bit of a queue for a beer I'd imagine
