Just a little snippet (exit of the Ascari chicane to the exit of Parabolica.) Also the DRS has been shortened this year, please log in to view this image
Power track = Good for Merc engines High fuel consumption track = Bad for Merc Engines I feel they'll have an advantage in quali and then be a bit held back by weight for the first 20 laps or so.
I do hope that Kobayashi doesn't get sacked on the basis that Perez has two podiums and he doesn't because that would just be ridiculous.
I see Mercedes going slower in the next two practice sessions. That said I have Schumacher to get pole so I hope not
Alonso issue is likely to be an old engine or gearbox at the end of its life. They install the race engine and gearbox before P3. So it not a big problem for Ferrari. Mercedes looking good with that DDRS, its open for a big chunk of the lap. Jenson again finding the balance straight away in Monza, he seems to nail it everytime looking at his previous races here. Also I keep forgetting about Red Bull as they are so far down the timesheets on these low downforce circuits. P2 will give us a better indication though!
