Just read this whole thread, and its a whole argument coming from a muppet who thinks that Redknapp is going to return, thinks that Cortese won't give him much time and indicates that he is impatient even though he has only sacked ONE manager, and is generally being pessimistic even though this is the time we should be POSITIVE.


One question... If Cortese doesn't trust Adkins, WHY WOULD HE GIVE HIM 12 SODDING MILLION TO SPEND ON ONE PLAYER!

Because Cortese spent that 12 million and not Adkins , in short Cortese wanted him and got him .

Cortese does the deals, but Adkins and the recruitment team pick the players. Most clubs operate under those lines. Leave a twerp like Redknapp in charge of money and we'd end up bankrupt!

I'd imagine that Cortese is well acquainted with Ramirez' agent, hence the swiftness of getting him to agree terms, but I'm sure Cortese will share his contacts with Adkins before doing a deal.

I am an agnostic and if you reread my post you will see that I made no reference to God. I had issue you with you using the word Christ in an way which would be considered offensive by someone who followed the Christian faith and I meant it. I asked you politely not to do it and I can assure you it was not said to score cheap points.

I find the rationale behind most of your posts very difficult to understand as they are not analytical or constructive and they do not fit with my understanding of reasoned debate. If you were to post comments and opions which are more balanced and carefully thought through you might endear yourselves to others. As it is I am sure that many people do the same as me and just pass over your Saints related comments without giving them a thought.
