Indeed "OUCH", safe to say after the latest turn of events and comments made to the Press by Jenson, their relationship may have reach and all time low..
He was, he wanted quicker talks and contract negotiations, and to mention that in a press conference, you need to be pretty desperate, so yeah he was worried. Looks like big changes at Mclaren and Ferrari then. BIG changes.
My wee brain thinks that.. Lewis and Jenson, for the remainder of the season Won't be "buddy buddy" anymore (if they ever were) Lewis will do his level best to pound Jenson into the Tarmac for the remainder of the season In doing so will send a message to McLaren "good luck pinning you hopes on this chap, BTW I'm off to Mercedes!" Mercedes will produce a stonking car in 2013, he'll wrap up the title without breaking sweat and Jenson will finish the season 9th in the WDC 230 pts behind! Or, in reality, Lewis will sign for McLaren shortly, they (Lewis and Jeson) will take an action holiday together (climb mountains and run triathlons) and become best of buds!
Just finished watching it, and your summary is as good as any. I think it's a given that the drivers will normally speak empty words, but as we say, it's the body language that's more telling.
That would **** me off if Merc produce something special, and Michael has retired. I am going to enjoy F1 whilst Michael is here, support him for that 92nd win, and that would sort me out ok. 2013 - Schumacher GP Team anyone?
I really want Button to win this one. Second in 2009 Second in 2010 Second in 2011 Surely it has to come good for him. I'm not saying three consecutive 2nd-place finishes is a record to be scoffed at, but surely he must be thinking he can go one step higher this time. Plus, it would be interesting to see how he'd cope with getting booed by the Tifosi.
The 27-year-old Briton added: "I want to win. Just need to think of the right place to do so." But he echoed his management's statement on Wednesday that he was "in advanced negotiations with McLaren", adding: "That's what we're working on." The fact that he is open to a move away casts doubt in and of itself on him staying at Mclaren.
He was avoiding eye contact in the interview with the BBC, the Mercedes move is for real! He is also licking his lips like crazy and shook his head in agreement that he didn't know where he was going.
Oh god no. It'll be like wacky races. Schumacher and his teammate as Dick Dastardly and Mutley. Nico Rosberg is obviously Penelope Pitstop.
