Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is set to go back for Blackpool starlet Tom Ince in January.

Pardew had a £4m bid knocked back for the 20-year-old winger during the transfer window.

Ince, son of ex-England hero Paul, has already scored four times this season and is catching the eye in the Championship.

It has been an impressive rise for Ince who began his youth career at Liverpool before going to Blackpool on a deal settled by tribunal.

But Ince appears to be destined for the Premier League either with Championship promotion hopefuls Blackpool next season or even sooner if Newcastle succeed in January.

The aim being that we will be a serious force to be reckoned with in, say, 2015 - 16, when Bigi, Abeid, Ince, etc, all come fully on line ? maybe decent plan

Ince is a great player. I was gonna mention him myself but I thought everyone would just go on about him being English and most likely cost us 20m.

Will be gutted if you get Ince, I've wanted him at SAFC for a while, I really rate the lad highly although there is question marks over his attitude although being under a manager like Holloway can only be good for him.

Well, I think he'd see both clubs as a good opportunity. You'd probably be able to offer him a better contract, but if we're in the same position at the end of the season, in Europe and still wanting young players to develop our future, then I think we might be able to edge it.

There's no doubt Newcastle look a better proposition for players than Sunderland atm, especially as you're in europe and giving younger players like the ones you've brought in a chance. Hopefully after this year that will change.

??? He asked Liverpool to release him as a youngster so he could actually play football, I'd say thats a pretty decent attitude

He's a great player though, my fear is if it comes to January and he's still in this form, Arsenal and Manure will be interested.

would love to bring in Ince. We are one of the only clubs in europe offering young players an acctual chance to get on the pitch atm so it could be realistic but I would worry as soon as we have a reasonable price accepted someone like City of chelsea would jump in and blow us out the water.

Just what I've heard of Liverpool fans, say they thought his head was too big, they compare him to Raheem Sterling and look where he is now.

One of those things where fans try to look for reasons why a player wants out. Ince was clearly ready for game time but wasn't going to get it. I admire his courage to leave for pastures new in order to progress his career. Not criticising Liverpool fans either, we all see things a certain way particularly when they come back to bite!

He's an old bloke and a genuine ITK on matters Blackpool and Fleetwood

Don't tease me with such stories ACS. The thought of him one side and Benni the other is sexual.

He ripped us too **** last season, and that was when everyone was raving about matt phillips (blackpools other winger). We were rumoured to be after Phillips this summer but our forum were pretty much unanimous in agreeing Ince is by far the better player, be wary of holloway though he's a whiny twat when it comes to transfers <ok>.

He would be my number 1 target in attacking areas apart from a striker.

Yes. We are one of the only clubs in Europe offering young players pitch time. Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham are all unlikely to offer a young player pitch time. Arsenal do, but are at least perceived to be somewhat biased against English talent. Liverpool would be the other English club in Europe who would provide a good opportunity to a young player to press his claim.
