Really good curry restaurant there and dead cheap. Very friendly, helpful folks as well. Think another trip back there maybe my first game of the season, with the Southampton game the following weekend. Pity Stoke got such a boring football team to watch!
Reckon you mean Arsenal, though it was named after the Woolwich Arsenal, which was a place. And there is an Arsenal tube station, which is also a place.
That question done me up like a kipper! Cheated by checking through all the leagues - and still drew a blank. Reckon you must be right Stan but like you I was still thinking Woolwich for Arsenal - which it hasn't been since long before even my lifetime! Orient did the same thing for a while didn't they? But reclaimed Leyton after a few years.
Ha! Just read a bit of wiki history on Bumsler. Never heard of there before either! Stoke outback - which must've prompted the question.
Unintentional, apologies. Though just had a classic shouting match with my boss, who is fortunately 3000 miles away. May have been some spillover.
Looks like a load of old tosh to me. For instance, if Brentford are everybody's favourite other club, why do they appear on the 'rivals' board more than '10th most hated' QPR?
I dont think its a rivalry, just the fact we hate them. There is a difference. For example you can hate Man U but not see them as rivals.
