Apart from the London games, previous experience tells me to miss this one. Didnt bother last season. Once you manage to get parked and into the stadium, its like a visit to the theatre complete with foam hands, dancing girls and other non-football things like a drum to build an artificial atmosphere and worst of all, Kasabian or not, music after goals. The Premiership deserves Leicester!!!!
so its due to Sky then? Once again the foam handers bow to their paymaster. I presume that the 30k attendance at the rugby will be too much for local services as well
Neither match is on Sky as far as I'm aware. Unfortunately the Tigers always seem to take priority when such a clash occurs.
No need to apologise mate. Really looking forward to this game actually. It'll be interesting to gauge both squads against each other and see how we've both progressed since last years meetings.
Looks like the authorities have leaned towards the bigger team on the saturday then. Lesta Tigers, whatever next ? Indeed. Leicester City dont really have much more quality than last season Yet Steve Bruce has improved us no end. At least you can see what you are missing in James Chester. Sorry. This game looks to have the makings of a barn burner. Hope it does not end up a damp 0-0 squib.
I agree you, certainly have added a bit of quality and attacking punch to your team but I think we're stronger than last year too. Although our defence is still somewhat a work in progress I think additions such as De Laet and the emergence of Moore have improved it somewhat. We're certainly playing a much better brand of football at the moment and I'm hoping Knockaert will have worked his way into the starting 11 by the time we meet. One thing we have been lacking so far is a cutting edge up front so could be a close one if your defence continues to perform well.
I agree with you on De Laet. Been impressed with him from what ive seen on the tv.Shame he was missing from the Blackpool game on sky last week though. I am surprised that NP did not do any business in the last week of August OR has he had the purse strings cut totally ? Is this a sign that your owners dont trust NP with anymore cash and his days maybe numbered ? It's an interesting next few weeks though.
I was slightly suprised we didn't bring some defensive cover in but think we may do so when the loan window opens. Not sure as to what money was made available to NP but we've still spent a fair chunk this summer. The owners have certainly had a re-think spending wise after last years debacle. Get Bruce to pop a cheeky loan bid in. You never know.
It did cross my mind. But If you had to pay Matt Mills up to leave and the fact that you still have Beckford on silly money its easy to see why. Mills and Beckford have to be the 2 worst pieces of business (for the money paid out in fees and wages) in years.
Leicester City is an away game i don't think i will ever do due to the points above, i would rather them just have no atmosphere than create a fake one (thank god we haven't done that at the KC) although i believe it will be a good game (for us) and hopefully Nigels last game in charge of Leicester. They're going nowhere with him in charge, they need someone with ambition and proven in taking teams to the premier league (Not Sven). Lesta 1-3 Hull
Yep and that's saying something for a club that paid over £5m for Akinbiyi Some crazy contracts have been handed out in the last few years and NP is working hard to redress the balance. I'd be suprised if Beckford is still here when the loan window shuts. The only slight comfort from the whole Mills fiasco is that Bolton fans are now realisng just how poor he is. Still can't believe we managed to re-coup £2m from them.
