I think he is in the same light of Racing driver as Hamilton, Hakkinen and Senna. He is also a nice likeable chap that wont cause any conflict or politics at Mclaren. It would be the perfect move.

Good point. A team of him and Button would be pretty harmonious.

I did too, but as a poster a couple of pages back stated, when was the last time you saw Button and Hamilton look matey?

I think Button beating Hamilton last year has strained the relationship. I don't think Hamilton saw Button as a threat.

I think Button and Hamilton have a good working relationship. I don't think they are friends off track, but then again who in the same team is...

For what it's worth, I don't think Button's quite the Mister Matey nice-guy behind the scenes that he seems in public. If I look back over his career he's made some pretty ruthless moves.

Not saying Lewis is an angel either though. ;)

You can't win much by being a nice guy. Obviously Button is going to have a ruthless streak. For all we know he tortures guinea pigs behind closed doors.

Absolutely, it's a ruthless sport. Once you get up there, the only way is down.

But Lewis wears his heart on his sleeve whereas Button always plays the gentleman.

Glock and Pic don't have a great relationship. Pic was linked to Sauber in Autosport magazine and apparently Chilton's dad part-owns Marrussia now, so I can see Chilton replacing Pic.

"Paul is unquestionably a serious talent", says Richard Goddard. No ****, Sherlock, too bloody serious!

If Marussia do get rid of Pic that's a pretty serious error in my view but I suppose they need Glock for development purposes. If Pic goes to Sauber - which I can see happening - then Perez won't be there next season because there's no way he's ready to take on a team leadership role.

I think Glock should leave Marrussia. He's always been an average driver at best. And I think Pic has a decent future ahead of him.

It's the thought that counts. I just got the same message, incidentally. I thought I was spreading it around!

The 'rep' thing makes no sense to me. Suffice to say that I liked Max's humour too!
